Night of the Museums 2017 in Frankfurt
Viola solo
The Night of the Museums 2017 has another musical surprise in store for friends of the music of Paul Hindemith. Students of the Academy of Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt will present movements from viola sonatas by Paul Hindemith in the Cowherds’ Tower. The staff of the Hindemith Institute in Frankfurt will be on location providing you with information about the Cowherds’ Tower and its prominent inhabitant Paul Hindemith, who lived there during the 1920s with his family.
With a "good heart and a bad mouth" and a lot of Sachsenhausen charm, the gardener’s wife welcomes the visitors in front of the Cowherd’s tower telling them gossip and chit-chat from Old Sachsenhausen.
The Homburger Hof will serve its very own apple wine, Frankfurt specialities and provide seating. Whoever wishes to can also indulge in a bit of sport at the mobile outdoor bowling lane.
