The Hindemith-Jahrbuch / Annales Hindemith was founded in 1971. It was one of the few publication series dedicated to a composer of the 20th century. The series was discontinued with volume 2024/LIII.

The Hindemith Institute sporadically publishes the series "Frankfurter Studien". This series contains anthologies with contributions on symposia organised by the Hindemith Institute as well as monographs on various aspects in the oeuvre of Paul Hindemith.
