Véronique Erard has been in charge of the Hindemith Music Centre in Blonay since 1 January 2024.
Véronique Erard was born in Burundi in 1971 and trained as a hotelier in 2006. She spent her youth and compulsory schooling in Bern. From 1986 to 1995, she attended secondary school, followed by university law school in Neuchâtel.
From 1996 to 2004, Ms Erard set up, ran and managed scuba diving centres in France. In 2006, she embarked on a new career in hotel/restaurant management. In France, she managed a 320-bed holiday village for 4 years, followed by care homes for the elderly.
In Switzerland, she worked at the 5* Palafitte in Neuchâtel, the 4* Bristol in Villars sur Ollon and the 4* Parc Hôtel in Fribourg.
For the last six years, she has managed the 3* Mirabeau Hotel in Crans Montana.
